Wonton Palace in Waterford

It was thee OKAY'est Chinese food ever. It was like..."just food". Not nasty...but nothing to write a review about!

Beware that management changed! We have lived here for four years and this has always been the best Chinese place in the area , food was amazing and great pricing, super generous portions and staff was super nice. Although the staff is still nice this definitely was no where near the same level as before. Portion sizes were about the same as was the pricing, but the changes with the rice and chicken is really different (ex now the orange chicken combo has a ton of pretty large chunks of orange peels in it which is not exactly what I want to be chewing on when I’m eating rice and chicken). Bummed about the changes for sure.

You will have no choice but to love the lady taking your order. You are her friend. This place by far has the best sesame chicken I've ever had. Made crispy!

Food is great and I would give 5 stars but you have to add at least 15 to 30 minutes to any estimate that they give you. If they didn't have the best egg rolls in town I wouldn't come back.

Not a bad place for price and convenience. But here chicken fried rice tastes like coffee.

The best part of this Chinese food is that it’s real white meat chicken. It’s not questionable meat like I’ve had at other Chinese food take out places. It’s probably the best chinese food I’ve had since I’ve lived in waterford. They also give you really large portions. The rice is really good as well. Gotta give 5 stars cause nothing disappointed me.

This was the first time I had even ordered from here. When I first walked in I felt SO WELCOMED! They are absolutely the sweetest people and very very helpful. Plus, when I got the meal I received such a HUGE portion I believe three people could have ate and been full... food was so flavorful and the wonton soup was amazing.. will definitely go back!

Great place! We ordered take out amid the whole pandemic happening right now & it was great! It was so nice to have a meal “out.” As out as we can get right now anyway.Food was solid, everyone enjoyed it.Staff was incredibly friendly & thankful for the business. They were taking precautions as well, face masks and equipment covered in plastic. We’ll be back as long as we’re allowed by the governing bodies.

Great food and lots of it.....like one meal is enough for three people . Friendly people. Only thing is the lobby is run down. Could definitely use some remodeling.

First time here and very impressed. Pretty big portions and its amazing food.

Had a urge for Chinese Food. Didn't even know this was here after living in Waterford since 2004. Awesome Mongolian Beef and Crab Ra-goons. Portions are huge for 1 person. Will be eating for a few days. Will be eating here again!

I have to agree with the other poster, if you change the recipe let people know. The general tso chicken used to be excellent with a little heat and bite size pieces of chicken. Now the general tso chicken literally tastes like sweet and sour chicken. I am so disappointed, we ordered over $100 of food for my wife's birthday party and it was not good. So sad and the very nice little oriental lady isn't at the front anymore either. You can take this review for what it is but Wonton Palace has changed, I don't know if its new ownership or what but not good.
